Recent Malaysia eVisa Updates

Starting from May 1, 2024, Malaysia has extended the validity of its eVisa for international tourists and students. Now, the eVisa is valid for 6 months, compared to the previous 3-month validity. 

Visitors can stay in Malaysia for up to 30 days for every entry, counting from the day they arrive.

Tourists from China no longer need an eVisa to visit Malaysia for tourism purposes. This exemption will be in effect until 31, December 2026.

Indian tourists are also exempt from needing a visa to visit Malaysia. They can stay for up to 30 days, but this exemption is only available until December 31, 2024.
